FAQ

Insoles in general

  • What does it mean to create insoles that move with the body?

In fact, you can control the movement of your body's center of gravity by partially raising or lowering the arch height of the insole by a few millimeters.

By using this method, you can make difficult movements easier or suppress bad habits that you can't help but develop.

This is achieved by analyzing the movement of the entire body and using data from many years of research and development to determine which parts of the sole of the foot should be made higher or lower by how many millimeters, and then selecting the insole shape that best suits your movement from among 500 billion patterns.

  • How can you make custom insoles using just a video of your movements and a photo of your feet?

There is a very close relationship between the movement of the body and the shape of the sole of the foot.

In other words, it is possible to predict with a high degree of accuracy from body movement data what shape will optimize movement.

By combining this information with foot size data obtained from foot photos, it is possible to create custom-made insoles.

  • Will my shoes become too tight if I put in the insoles?

Our insoles are made to be as thin as possible so that your shoes do not become too tight (the thickness at the non-arch area is approximately 3.3 mm).

By removing the insoles that are originally in your shoes and replacing them with our insoles, you will rarely experience tightness in your shoes.

If the original insole is glued in place and difficult to remove, you can warm it up a little with a household hair dryer to make it easier to remove (be careful not to overheat it).

In addition, there are rare cases where the insoles are sewn together and cannot be removed. If you are purchasing our insoles, we recommend that you choose shoes with removable insoles to avoid the problem of tightness.

  • Is it possible to make insoles that fit your feet without looking at them?

Yes, we can make insoles that fit your feet even if you order online.

The reason for this is that it is based on a 3D arch pad that was invented in a Japanese hospital with ergonomics in mind, and by adding a few millimeters of padding or removing unnecessary parts, we adjust the arch height to suit each individual customer.

  • Why do you feel less tired?

There are two types of tired feet.

The first is the decline in the pumping function of the feet caused by standing or walking for long periods of time. When the muscles in the feet remain contracted for a long period of time, the pumping function of the muscles around the feet declines, causing fatigue substances and body fluids to accumulate in the feet. When this happens, you feel tired in your feet. Our insoles encourage the constant use of the pumping muscles in the feet, reducing foot fatigue.

Secondly, as a result of continuously supporting your weight on a limited area of the sole of your foot, the burden is placed on that area only, which can cause fatigue. Our insoles encourage you to use the entire sole of your foot to support your weight, reducing fatigue.

  • Can you make insoles for physical pain, such as knee pain?

Yes. We have received many positive feedback from customers who have experienced the effectiveness of walking insoles in relieving knee pain.

  • Will using these insoles reduce pain in my lower back and knees?

If you suffer from knee or back pain, please provide detailed information about it when uploading your data.

Also,We have ample experience in producing insoles in hospitals, however, please be aware that as they are not medical products, we cannot guarantee their effectiveness.

  • Can you make insoles for other sports?

Currently, we only offer golf equipment on our e-commerce site, but we may be able to make equipment for sports other than golf if you inquire.

For example, we have experience producing equipment for baseball, tennis, table tennis, running, and soccer.

  • How many years can it be used?

For adults, we recommend replacing your shoes every 18 months due to changes in movement and deterioration of the insoles.

If you sign up for a monthly subscription plan, you can order new insoles after 18 months at no extra charge.

  • Do the insoles cause pain when your movement changes?

You may experience muscle pain for a few days after wearing the insoles.

This is often caused by the insoles changing body movements, activating muscles that were not used before, and is usually not a negative pain.

It is normal for your body to get used to the product and the pain will disappear after about a week, but if the pain does not subside after that, please discontinue use and contact your distributor or our company.

In addition, we will remake your product free of charge within 90 days from the date of initial payment, so please feel free to make your purchase.

  • It appears to be made from a soft material, but won't it get worn down and change shape?

We only use materials that are extremely unlikely to sag, so you can use it for a long time.

We recommend replacing it every 18 months.

Also, if you sign up for a monthly subscription plan, you can order new insoles after 18 months at no extra charge.

  • Are walking insoles and beauty insoles effective in high heels?

We are currently not making insoles for high heels.

The walking and beauty products are designed to be used with flat shoes, so the intended effects cannot be expected when worn with heeled shoes.

However, if you wear flat shoes or pumps with no heels, you can expect a sufficient effect. If you plan to use it mainly on flat shoes, the product will need to be made thinner, so please specify this when uploading the data.

  • What is the difference between the walking version and the beauty version?

For walking, we adjust the balance of kicking power between the left and right, analyze the left and right sway of the whole body obtained from a video of the walking motion, and based on the results, create a shape that achieves a balanced walking motion.

On the other hand, the insoles for beauty are designed to encourage you to walk faster forward by exerting your muscles as much as possible. With insoles for beauty, even if you walk normally, you will be using more muscles, which can have the effect of lifting your hips.

  • What is the difference between the walking and room versions?

Walking shoes are made to be worn in shoes and are primarily intended to help you walk forward with more balance and ease.

On the other hand, the insoles for indoor use are designed to be installed in slippers. By wearing the insoles for indoor use, you will unconsciously use your toes to stand and walk indoors, which will bring your body closer to a healthy state, and will reduce foot fatigue caused by housework, etc.

  • What are the benefits of using room insoles?

It has been proven to be effective in reducing pain such as lower back pain and knee pain, as well as reducing fatigue in the legs and hips during housework.

The insoles for indoor use are made to be worn in slippers. By wearing the insoles for indoor use, you will be able to stand and walk using your toes properly even indoors, and your body will unconsciously become healthier.

  • Can I put room insoles in my slippers so they don't move around inside?

The underside of the room insole has a special anti-slip coating.

If you are still having difficulty fixing the insole inside the slipper, we recommend sticking a piece of double-sided tape (approximately 1 cm x 3 cm) to the bottom of the insole to secure it in place.

  • My shoes already have insoles, can I replace them with these insoles?

Yes, there is no problem with replacing it.

If the original insole is glued in place and difficult to remove, you can warm it slightly with a household hair dryer to make it easier to remove (be careful not to overheat it).

In addition, there are rare cases where the insoles are sewn together and cannot be removed. If you are purchasing our insoles, please choose shoes where the original insoles can be removed.

  • Is it okay to put walking gear in golf shoes?

    There is no problem.

However, the two insoles have different purposes and are completely different in shape.

The purpose of walking insoles is to allow you to walk forward with ease and balance, while the purpose of golf insoles is to reduce lateral sway during your swing.

Therefore, if your goal is to make walking easier while playing golf, it makes a lot of sense to use our walking insoles while playing golf.

On the other hand, to improve golf-specific problems such as "reducing mis-shots" and "increasing distance," we recommend using our golf insoles.

  • Is it okay to put golf gear into regular sneakers?

Please refrain from doing this as it may cause injury.

Golf shoes have a very special shape that is designed to rotate the body at high speeds on the spot. Therefore, if you use them for everyday walking on hard surfaces such as concrete, you may experience pain in your knees, etc.

Please rest assured that there is no problem walking on the grass during a round of golf.

  • I can't remove the insole, so would it be effective to put an insole on top of it?

Yes, you can still expect results if you place it on top of an insole.

Ideally, you would remove the original insole and replace it, but if that is difficult, or if putting the insole on top doesn't cause any problems such as it being too tight, you can still get the desired results.

Please be aware that if your shoes already have an arch shape in the insole, placing our insole on top of that arch shape may result in a higher arch than expected, which can disrupt your balance.

If you are purchasing our insoles, please choose shoes with removable insoles.

  • Will it still be effective if I put it in old shoes?

Yes, even worn out shoes can be effective.

However, you will get better results if you put them in new shoes.

The reason is that shoes are perishable goods and they quickly wear down and lose their shape, so it is difficult for insoles to achieve 100% of their effectiveness in worn-out shoes.

Our insoles will also extend the life of your shoes, so we recommend putting them in newer shoes to enjoy the best possible results for a longer period of time.

  • Are there any deodorizing and antibacterial insoles?

We are currently developing an insole with deodorizing, antibacterial, water-absorbing and quick-drying properties, which we plan to release soon.

  • I have flat feet, is there any benefit to this?

Yes, it can be effective for all kinds of foot problems, including flat feet.

Rather than simply improving flat feet, our insoles can help restore important bodily functions in the feet that tend to be lost due to flat feet.

It is expected that by maintaining an activated state of the muscles in the soles of the feet for many years, flat feet will secondary improve (increase in arch height).

In addition, our insoles are not medical products. If you are experiencing severe pain due to flat feet, we recommend that you first visit a medical institution.

  • I have hallux valgus. Will this have any positive effect?

Yes, it can be effective for all kinds of foot problems, including bunions.

It is known that hallux valgus occurs when the muscles in the sole of the foot do not function properly for a long period of time.

Our insoles work to compensate for the important bodily functions of the feet. By keeping the sole muscles in an activated state for many years, it is expected that hallux valgus will improve secondary to the condition.

In addition, our insoles are not medical products. If you are experiencing severe pain due to hallux valgus, we recommend that you first visit a medical institution.

  • If my golf swing has changed, should I get new insoles?

Yes. If your swing has changed significantly, you will be able to achieve better performance if you have your club remade.

As a general rule of thumb, we recommend replacing your lenses every 18 months.

  • What makes your insoles different from other golf insoles?

Many of the golf insoles from other companies are ready-made products, and even if they are custom-made, they are usually made to fit only the shape of your foot.

The problem is that it is difficult to get the desired effect from ready-made insoles that do not fit your feet or movements, and custom-made insoles made to fit the shape of your feet not only do not improve your golf performance, but we often see them actually increase sway.

Our thinking is that even though body movements and the shape of the foot create swing habits, it is theoretically difficult to improve golf performance by simply making insoles to fit the shape of the foot without analyzing the swing.

We are able to create insoles that improve sports performance because they are made based on data obtained by physical therapists with knowledge of kinesiology, biomechanics, anatomy, etc. who thoroughly analyze movements.

Care and usage

  • Would it be okay to replace the shoes with ones other than the one I wanted to have made?

Yes, there is no problem if you are replacing them with the same type of shoes (e.g., replacing them with different sneakers) for the same purpose (e.g., if the shoes are made for walking, replacing them with different shoes for walking).

If you are replacing the insole with a shoe that is a completely different size, it may move around inside, or the insole may be too large and difficult to fit in. In either case, make sure to fit the heel of the insole to the heel of the insole of the shoe.

If the insole moves around inside your shoe, we recommend sticking a 1cm x 3cm piece of double-sided tape to the bottom of the insole to secure it in place.

Also, if your toes are too big and difficult to insert, there is no problem with the performance of the insole as long as you don't feel any discomfort even if the tips of your toes curl up inside the shoe. However, you can wear the insole in a way that fits your foot by fitting the heel tip of the insole to the heel part of the midsole of the shoe.

Please note that if you replace your golf insoles with walking insoles, please refrain from walking for long periods on concrete as this may cause knee pain.

  • How do I clean it if it gets dirty?

Wash gently with water and dry in the shade. Do not use a washing machine or dryer.

  • It starts to smell easily, what should I do?

    Our insoles are washable.

If the smell bothers you, gently wash it with water and dry it in the shade. Please refrain from using a washing machine or dryer.

  • Why is the total price for the 18-month monthly plan cheaper than buying it all at once?

If you purchase in full, the insoles become your property.

On the other hand, with the monthly flat-rate plan, you must return the insoles when you cancel, so they do not become your property. Because of this difference, the total price for the 18-month monthly flat-rate plan is cheaper than the lump-sum payment.
